Kathy’s UK Endeavours

ECF’s Executive Chair and co-founder, Kathy Jones extended her stay in the UK following invitations to two premier industry events.

Our energetic leader participated in the Property Council of Australia’s London Study Tour Program. This program was an immersive week which allowed her to explore how London has evolved into a model for urban development. By engaging with the city’s leading experts and examining its innovative approaches, Kathy gathered valuable lessons on integrating work, life, and play, and leveraging infrastructure for urban renewal.

Following the London Study Tour Program, Kathy was a guest speaker at an Australian British Chamber of Commerce exclusive event with British Government and industry leaders. The event, the Chamber’s flagship Australian British Infrastructure Catalyst (ABIC), highlighted innovative ideas to tackle a number of issues faced by both UK and Australian communities – the housing crisis, transport services, funding for new infrastructure, how to increase productivity in infrastructure, and Modern Manufacturing Construction.

Kathy’s endeavours in the UK are set to provide us with fresh perspectives and practical ideas to enhance our work. We look forward to sharing the insights she brings back and leveraging key takeaways into our work at ECF.
