ECF Supports Launch of Ferndale Industrial Precinct
Western Sydney’s transformation took a major step forward recently as the Ferndale Industrial Precinct officially broke ground in Luddenham!
ECF designed and delivered a sod turning media event on the 16th of June marking the start of the commencement of works at the Advanced Resource Recovery Centre (ARRC) in Luddenham, now officially known as Stage One of the Ferndale Industrial Precinct.
Representatives from Coombes Property Group and Renier Group were joined at the sod turning event by key stakeholders, including The Hon. Stephen Kamper MP, Minister for Lands and Property, Minister for Multiculturalism, Minister for Sport, Minister for Jobs and Tourism.
It is the first agribusiness project in the Western Sydney Aerotropolis to receive Development Application approval and start construction. The development is entirely privately funded, signalling strong industry confidence in sustainable and circular economy infrastructure.
The ARRC will process up to 600,000 tonnes of building, commercial and industrial materials annually, providing a much-needed solution to the state’s landfill pressures.
Strategically located just minutes from the new Western Sydney International Airport, Ferndale Industrial Precinct is set to become a key driver of sustainable infrastructure, regional supply chains and circular economy leadership in the Aerotropolis region.
ECF is proud to be working alongside the joint venture, Coombes Property Group and Renier Group providing strategic communication services to help shape the public narrative for this transformative precinct.
ECF facilitated consistent stakeholder engagement and communication for Coombes Property Group and Renier Group, including media consultation following the sod turning, with an article on the Ferndale Industrial Precinct featured in the Daily Telegraph on June 24.
This project represents a powerful vision for sustainable industry and regional strength in the Western Sydney region, fully funded by private capital and delivering local benefits to communities.
